Signed marquee customers in Europe, US and Japan: Sasken Technologies
Publication- CNBC TV18
Edition- Online
Date- 22 January, 2019
Sasken Technologies posted mixed set of quarterly earnings. Rajiv Mody, CMD and CEO of the company, discussed third-quarter results and growth prospects in an interaction with CNBC-TV18. “We have shown satisfactory growth from Q2 to Q3. However, when you look at year-on-year (YoY), definitely there is a drop primarily because of couple of reasons. One is that we are systematically exiting some of the businesses that don’t make sense primarily from either the business model or from the margins perspective. So in Q3 previous year, we had some of those businesses which we don’t have in this quarter," Mody said on Tuesday.
"Secondly, we have had certain challenges with one of the complex programmes that we have been engaged with and we had mentioned that in Q2. We are in the process of arriving at a resolution but until it is done, it is not done. So we have not had any positive impact on the topline because of that in Q3 but the cost has been factored in Q3 quarter,” he said.
